Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer (PHP/WordPress SaaS)

Sabertooth Home is building an AI-powered homeowner intelligence platform. Our goal is to give homeowners a complete digital profile of their home through: * Home Health Score * AI document extraction * maintenance intelligence * homeowner dashboard * property insights * monthly reports The MVP is already built on WordPress and Elementor. I’m looking for a senior engineer to help transform the MVP into a scalable software platform while keeping WordPress as the customer-facing experience. Responsibilities: * Review existing architecture * Recommend improvements * Build scalable backend systems * Build custom WordPress plugins * Improve database architecture * Integrate AI throughout the platform * Build APIs * Automate dashboard population * Improve security * Improve performance * Help shape long-term architecture Required Skills: PHP WordPress MySQL REST APIs JavaScript Git OpenAI API (or similar LLM experience) Prompt engineering AI document processing JSON structured outputs Authentication Plugin development This is NOT A simple WordPress website. This is a SaaS platform using WordPress as the customer-facing layer. I want someone who enjoys helping build something from an early stage. I’ve built the initial MVP and have a clear long-term vision for the product. I’m looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with founders and helping shape products—not just completing isolated tasks.
