We are looking for an AI Engineer to reduce AI token costs and optimize inference pipelines for an agriculture app. The product’s main features are photo analysis for crop health and an in-app chatbot, so experience with multimodal models, prompt optimization, and efficient API design is essential. Responsibilities: - Design and implement cost-efficient AI pipelines for photo analysis and conversational features. - Optimize prompts, batching, caching, and model selection to minimize token usage and inference costs. - Integrate and maintain the chatbot backend and photo-analysis services (model serving, queuing, retries). - Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver a seamless UX for farmers and agronomists. - Write tests and monitoring for model accuracy, latency, and cost metrics; run A/B experiments and rollbacks.
