# WordPress Developer Needed to Convert Existing Claude Design into a Live Website We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to convert an existing website design created using Claude into a fully functional, responsive and production-ready website. The design and overall visual direction have already been created. The primary requirement is to accurately reproduce the design in WordPress and deploy it as a live website. We would prefer to work with someone who is comfortable using **Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development tools** to speed up implementation, while still following proper WordPress development practices. ## Preferred Technology Stack The website will most likely use: * WordPress * Astra Pro * Elementor Pro * WP Rocket * Cloudflare * ShortPixel * Rank Math * Wordfence * UpdraftPlus * Namecheap hosting We are open to recommendations if you believe any part of the stack should be changed or simplified. ## Scope of Work The selected developer will be responsible for: * Reviewing the existing Claude-generated design and assets * Converting the design into a functional WordPress website * Reproducing the design as accurately as possible * Building all pages for desktop, tablet and mobile * Setting up Astra Pro and Elementor Pro * Creating reusable sections, templates and components * Configuring global fonts, colours, spacing and design styles * Building the header, footer and navigation * Adding forms, buttons, menus and other required interactions * Ensuring that the website is easy for us to edit through Elementor * Using custom CSS, JavaScript or PHP only where necessary * Setting up a child theme or custom plugin for any code-level customizations * Configuring caching and performance optimization * Configuring Cloudflare * Optimizing images using ShortPixel * Setting up Rank Math for basic technical SEO * Configuring Wordfence security * Setting up automated remote backups using UpdraftPlus * Deploying the completed website to Namecheap hosting * Testing the website across major browsers and devices * Fixing any bugs identified during final review ## Important Development Requirements The final website should: * Closely match the supplied design * Be fully responsive * Load quickly * Follow good Core Web Vitals practices * Be easy to update without coding * Use reusable Elementor components rather than duplicated sections * Avoid unnecessary plugins * Avoid excessive or poorly structured AI-generated code * Be secure and maintainable * Not depend on Claude Code or any proprietary development environment after handover Any custom code must be clearly documented, including where it has been added and what it controls. ## Deliverables * Fully developed WordPress website * Responsive desktop, tablet and mobile versions * All agreed pages completed * Elementor-editable page layouts * Configured performance, security, SEO and backup plugins * Website deployed to the live domain * Basic documentation for editing the website * List of all plugins and custom code used * Administrator access and complete project handover * Post-launch support for bug fixes ## Required Experience Please apply only if you have strong experience with: * WordPress development * Elementor Pro * Astra Pro or similar WordPress themes * Converting designs or prototypes into WordPress websites * Responsive front-end development * HTML, CSS and JavaScript * WordPress performance optimization * Cloudflare configuration * WordPress security and backup setup * AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools ## When Applying Please include: 1.
