We're a US digital sales and marketing agency that helps local businesses get more customers online. We need a reliable developer for steady, ongoing client work. You'll build from clear written playbooks and task briefs. Typical work: - Fast, mobile-first websites and landing pages built to convert - Lead automations: instant email/text replies, missed-call text-back, review requests (Make or n8n, Twilio) - Google Business Profile setup and technical local SEO - Tracking: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta pixel, conversion events - Shopify storefront updates You must have: - Strong Next.js or React, plus Supabase or Postgres - Real experience building Make or n8n automations - Daily use of AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor or similar) - Clear written English and a short daily progress update - A portfolio of live sites you built How we work: - Top 3 applicants do a $150 paid test task. The best one gets ongoing work. - Ongoing work is fixed price per milestone, paid through Upwork after review. - All work is done on client-owned accounts. - One short overlap window, 8 to 9 AM Chicago time. Shortlisted applicants only (top 3) will be invited to a paid test task (3 days, $150): Build a working lead-capture page for a fictional business, "Northside Plumbing, Chicago": 1. Mobile-first landing page: headline, one call-to-action button, click-to-call phone number, three trust points, and a 3-field form (name, phone, issue). 2. On form submit, the lead gets an email reply within 60 seconds and an owner alert is sent. Use Make or n8n. 3. Each lead is saved to a Google Sheet with a timestamp. 4. Basic SEO: title, meta description, one H1, LocalBusiness schema. Deliver: the live link, plus a 2-minute screen recording showing a form submission and the reply arriving, with a visible timer.
