Build & integrate Floor Planner Scanner

Senior iOS / Spatial Computing Engineer — SQFT+ We are looking for an experienced iOS / Spatial Computing Engineer to help build the core scanning and spatial intelligence capabilities of SQFT+, a next-generation property technology platform. The initial focus will be on developing a native iOS spatial scanning module using Apple RoomPlan, integrating it cleanly into our existing React Native / Expo architecture, and creating the foundations for turning captured spatial data into an intelligent, structured property model. Key Responsibilities Develop a native Swift / iOS RoomPlan module for high-quality interior property scanning. Build an Expo Config Plugin to integrate the native scanning functionality into our React Native / Expo application. Develop the in-app capture experience, including scan initiation, guidance, progress states, permissions, error handling and completion flows. Process and structure RoomPlan output into a consistent SQFT+ spatial data model. Develop a high-quality 2D floor plan renderer capable of displaying rooms, walls, doors, windows, furniture, dimensions and other spatial elements. Integrate the spatial output with the SQFT+ scoring engine, allowing captured property data to feed directly into property analysis and scoring. Establish a scalable architecture that allows additional spatial intelligence, computer vision and property-analysis capabilities to be added in future phases. Work closely with product and design to ensure the scanning experience is intuitive, reliable and suitable for real-world property use. Ideal Experience We are looking for someone with strong experience in: Swift / SwiftUI Apple RoomPlan ARKit / RealityKit LiDAR and spatial capture technologies React Native and/or Expo native modules Expo Config Plugins 2D/3D geometry and spatial data Rendering floor plans or technical diagrams JSON / spatial data transformation API integration and cloud-backed applications Experience working with property technology, CAD, surveying, architecture, computer vision or spatial computing would be highly advantageous. The Opportunity This isn't simply a mobile app development role. You will be working on the spatial foundation of SQFT+ — transforming a physical property captured through a smartphone into structured digital spatial data that can subsequently be analysed, scored and enriched by our wider platform. The initial implementation will leverage Apple's RoomPlan capabilities, but the architecture must be designed with long-term ownership, extensibility and proprietary SQFT+ technology in mind. The successful candidate will therefore have the opportunity to contribute to a technology platform that can ultimately extend beyond floor-plan generation into property intelligence, spatial analysis, renovation planning, property scoring and digital property models.
