Chrome Extension: Add Action Button

I already have a lightweight Chrome extension that takes a list of names from Excel, lets me tweak the list, and then spits out a plain-text draft I can paste anywhere. I now need one extra step: after the draft appears, I want to trigger an additional action with a single click...
