Developer Needed For AI Agents in Integration CRM/Business Systems

We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Developer / Integration Specialist to build, deploy, and maintain AI agents across our CRM and business software. This is not a simple chatbot project. We are building AI agents that perform actual business functions, communicate with our existing software, trigger workflows, update records, analyze data, and automate repetitive work currently handled by employees. What You'll Be Building Examples of agents and automations may include: AI Lead Response Agents – immediately respond to inbound leads, qualify prospects, update CRM records, schedule appointments, and trigger follow-up. AI Voice Agents – handle inbound/outbound calls, qualification, appointment setting, warm transfers, call summaries, and CRM updates. AI Follow-Up Agents – automatically manage long-term SMS/email/call follow-up based on lead status and previous conversations. AI CRM Agents – monitor pipelines, identify leads requiring action, clean/update records, assign tasks, change stages, and trigger workflows. AI Sales/ISA Management Agents – monitor activity and KPIs, identify leads that aren't being worked properly, and provide daily/weekly reporting. AI Data Agents – receive data from scrapers/APIs, clean and deduplicate records, enrich information, categorize leads, and distribute records to the appropriate systems. AI Marketing Agents – assist with email campaigns, social media workflows, lead nurturing, database reactivation, and campaign reporting. AI Research/Scraping Agents – gather and organize information from approved public sources and feed structured data into our systems. AI Operations Agents – automate repetitive administrative processes between our different software platforms. AI Reporting Agents – pull information from multiple systems and automatically create KPI reports, alerts, summaries, and dashboards. We have multiple businesses and expect the AI infrastructure to expand significantly over time. Current / Potential Tech Stack You should be comfortable working across platforms such as: GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM systems OpenAI / LLM APIs Voice AI platforms Twilio / telephony APIs Email & SMS platforms Make n8n Zapier Webhooks REST APIs Python / JavaScript Databases Scrapers and data pipelines Google Workspace Facebook/Meta integrations Custom internal software We are not committed to using Make/Zapier for everything. We want someone who understands when an automation platform makes sense versus when something should be built directly through APIs, webhooks, code, or an AI-agent framework. What We're Looking For The ideal person is both a developer and automation architect. You should be able to look at a manual business process and determine: Trigger → Data → AI Decision → Action → CRM Update → Follow-Up → Reporting You should have experience with: API integrations Webhooks AI/LLM integrations Structured LLM outputs Function/tool calling CRM automation AI agents Voice AI Prompt engineering Workflow automation Database/API architecture Error handling and retries Logging and monitoring Authentication/API keys Data mapping Building reliable production automations Experience with real estate investing, sales organizations, lead generation, GoHighLevel, or high-volume lead management is a major plus. Important: Reliability Matters We do not want fragile automations that work during testing and constantly break in production. Systems should include appropriate: Error handling Retry logic Logging Duplicate prevention API failure handling Data validation Monitoring/alerts Documentation AI agents should also have clearly defined permissions and guardrails so they cannot make unintended changes to business systems. Initial Project The first phase will be reviewing our existing CRM/software infrastructure and identifying where AI agents can replace or improve manual processes. From there, we will prioritize agents based on: Business impact + time saved + increased lead conversion + implementation difficulty. You will then build and test the highest-priority agents and connect them to our existing systems. If the relationship works well, there will be significant ongoing development as we continue automating additional parts of the businesses.
