Founding Technical Operator (AI-Native) — Fix, Rebuild, Scale a Live Healthcare Platform

If you want ownership of a real system with real users, real revenue, and real problems — keep reading. --- ABOUT THE COMPANY We are building a direct-to-consumer healthcare platform in the mental health space (telemedicine, prescriptions, patient coordination). We are live. We have paying customers. We are growing. And we are early. This is not an idea-stage project. This is a system that already exists, already has traction, and is being held back by execution. If you are the right person, you will feel immediately that this can become something much larger than it is today. --- THE SITUATION We have: - A live platform (React / Vercel / modern stack) - Paying customers - Increasing support load - A dev team that is not performing What this means: - UX is inconsistent and sometimes broken - Features are implemented incorrectly - Changes create new problems - Basic systems (payments, flows, logic) are unreliable - Speed is far below what is possible with modern AI This is not acceptable. --- WHAT YOU ARE WALKING INTO You will: - Audit the entire system - Identify what is broken vs salvageable - Take control of technical direction - Either fix the current team or replace them - Implement AI-native development across the stack - Reduce founder involvement in day-to-day tech decisions You are not “joining a team.” You are becoming the force that makes the system work. You will have real authority to make changes — including team, architecture, and tooling decisions. --- WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR You are: - Extremely fast and decisive - AI-native (Claude, GPT, Cursor, etc. are your default workflow) - Comfortable owning messy systems - Able to simplify complexity into clear execution - Comfortable working with sensitive user data (HIPAA/PHI-level responsibility) and building systems that are secure by design - Obsessed with product clarity and user experience - Not intimidated by responsibility You should be able to: - Take a vague problem and turn it into a working system - Ship improvements in hours/days, not weeks - Identify and eliminate bad architecture - Implement testing and guardrails quickly - Communicate clearly and directly --- WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR - Task followers - People who need detailed specs for everything - Slow builders - “Yes” people who don’t think - Anyone not already deep in AI workflows --- COMPENSATION - Paid role (contract to start) - High ownership - Path to long-term role if alignment is strong No equity discussion upfront. Earn trust first. FINAL NOTE This role is for someone who wants to build something real, not hide behind process. If you are exceptional, this will feel obvious. If not, this will feel overwhelming. Both are useful signals. If you’ve done real work on yourself — mentally, emotionally, or otherwise — that perspective will matter here.
