About the Role As a Frontend Engineer, you will build and maintain the main Web3 application through which users interact with our custom staking protocol. You will work closely with blockchain, backend, and product engineers to turn protocol functionality into a secure, intuitive, and production-ready user experience. You should be comfortable working with blockchain transaction states and understanding what happens between: User → Wallet → Frontend → Blockchain Program/Smart Contract → Transaction → Confirmation → Updated UI Key Responsibilities Frontend Development Build production-ready interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript Develop reusable and scalable frontend components Implement responsive desktop and mobile interfaces Build clean and intuitive Web3 user experiences Translate Figma designs and product requirements into high-quality frontend code Maintain frontend architecture and coding standards Staking Application Build interfaces for: Stake tokens Unstake tokens Claim rewards View active staking positions View available rewards View staking history View lock periods View reward rates View estimated earnings View transaction history Manage multiple staking positions Wallet Integration Implement secure wallet functionality including: Wallet connection Wallet disconnection Wallet account detection Network detection Transaction signing Transaction confirmation Transaction failure handling Wallet balance display Experience with Phantom, Solflare, MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar wallets is valuable. Blockchain Integration Integrate the frontend with our custom staking protocol using appropriate Web3 libraries and SDKs. For Solana: @solana/web3.js Solana Wallet Adapter Anchor client / IDL integration SPL token interactions For EVM: ethers.js / viem wagmi EVM wallet integrations You should be able to work with blockchain engineers to understand program/contract interfaces and correctly implement frontend transaction flows. Dashboard & Analytics Build user dashboards showing: Total staked Available balance Pending rewards Claimed rewards Staking APY / reward rate Staking duration Transaction history Portfolio information Protocol statistics Pool information Transaction UX Blockchain transactions can take time or fail. The frontend must clearly communicate: Transaction preparation Wallet approval Transaction submitted Pending confirmation Successful transaction Failed transaction Retry actions Updated blockchain state Good Web3 UX and clear transaction feedback are important parts of this role. Similar Solana DeFi roles specifically call out handling Web3 state transitions and feedback loops such as notifications and transaction states. Required Skills Frontend 2+ years professional frontend development Strong React.js Strong Next.js Strong TypeScript JavaScript / ES6+ HTML / CSS Responsive design Tailwind CSS or similar State management REST API integration Git / GitHub Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in any of the following will be highly relevant: Staking platforms DeFi applications Yield platforms Liquidity protocols DAO applications Token platforms Cross-chain applications Crypto wallets Blockchain dashboards Solana protocols EVM protocols Experience building staking or DeFi interfaces is particularly valuable because these products require specialized transaction, reward, wallet, and state-management UX.
