MERN Stack Developer | Next.js + AWS for Ecommerce App with Advanced Search & OTP Login

We are building a modern Ecommerce Application with a focus on speed, UX, and a seamless customer experience. We already have phone + OTP based login working and now need to build an advanced product search & filtering system + strengthen our frontend architecture. We’re looking for a senior MERN developer who can own the frontend in http://Next.js and integrate it cleanly with our http://Node.js backend. Key Responsibilities - Build advanced search & filters for products: by Price, Color, Category, Brand, Size, Availability, etc. - Optimize search for performance + UX: autocomplete, faceted filters, pagination, and debounced queries - Work on frontend using http://Next.js, http://React.js, Redux, Cookies & Session Management - Integrate with existing Node.js + Express + MongoDB APIs - Ensure secure handling of phone/OTP login sessions and token/cookie management - Deploy and configure services on AWS - EC2, S3, CloudFront, Lambda a plus - Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices Required Skills & Experience - 3+ years of hands-on experience with MERN Stack - Expert in React.js, http://Next.js, Redux Toolkit, Context API - Strong experience with Node.js, http://Express.js, MongoDB, Mongoose - Experience handling Cookies, JWT, Session Management for auth flows - Proven experience building advanced search/filter UIs for ecommerce/catalog apps - Hands-on with AWS: EC2, S3, CloudFront, PM2. Experience with CI/CD is a plus - Good understanding of REST APIs, performance optimization, and responsive design - Comfortable working with Git, Jira/Trello, and async communication Nice to Have - Experience with ElasticSearch / MongoDB Atlas Search / Meilisearch - Prior work on ecommerce platforms - Tailwind CSS / Shadcn / UI library experience What We Provide - Clear Figma designs + API docs - Existing OTP login flow you’ll extend, not build from scratch - Fast feedback loop and direct access to founders - Long-term work potential if fit is good To Apply, Please Include: 1.
