React Native Developer - Health App MVP (iOS & Android)

About the project I am a France health and wellness entrepreneur building a perimenopause health app. The app helps women aged 35-55 navigate perimenopause symptoms through science-backed lifestyle, nutrition and supplement protocols. I have already built a fully functional web prototype with all screens, user flows, onboarding, protocol content and a symptom diary tracker complete. I need a skilled React Native developer to rebuild this as a native iOS and Android app using the working prototype as the design and logic specification. This is not a vague idea. The product is built, tested and ready to be translated into a native app. You will have a working reference for every screen, every interaction and every user flow from day one. What you will build - React Native app using Expo framework (preferred) - User authentication - account creation, login, password reset - Stripe payment integration - subscription paywall (monthly and annual plans) - Onboarding flow - medical safety questionnaire and symptom selector - Home dashboard - personalised protocol cards, daily checklist, quick diary log - 11 protocol screens - each with expandable step cards, supplement timing tables, daily checklists and cross-protocol tags - Symptom and hot flash diary tracker with weekly summary graphs - Nutrition Hub screen with accordion content sections and consultation booking link - Profile and settings screen - subscription management, notification preferences, health flag editing - Push notifications - morning and evening reminders - Polished UI using an existing design system - colours, fonts and component styles already defined - Apple App Store and Google Play Store submission Tech stack - React Native with Expo - Supabase or Firebase for backend and database (open to your recommendation) - Stripe for payments - Push notifications via Expo Notifications - Google Fonts - DM Serif Display and DM Sans What I am looking for - - Minimum 3 years React Native experience - At least one app currently live on the Apple App Store - please include the link in your proposal - Experience with Expo, Stripe integration and push notifications - Clean, readable code - this app will be maintained and expanded over time - Good written English communication - we will work async across time zones - Bonus: experience with health, wellness or subscription apps - Bonus: familiarity with AI coding tools such as Cursor How we will work - You will receive full access to the working web prototype as your specification - Milestone-based payments - not hourly - Weekly check-ins via Loom or Zoom - MVP build first, with potential for ongoing development if the relationship works well in your proposal, please include: 1. A link to at least one app you have built that is currently live on the Apple App Store 2. Your estimated hours to complete the full MVP - broken down by section (authentication and payments, onboarding, protocol screens, diary tracker, Nutrition Hub, settings, App Store submission) 3. Your fixed project fee for the full MVP - I am open to both fixed price and hourly proposals 4. A brief paragraph (5-10 sentences) on how you would approach this project - what framework and backend would you choose and why 5. Your availability - how many hours per week can you commit right now Proposals without an Apple App Store link will not be considered. Paid test task Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete a small paid test. You will receive one screen from the prototype and be asked to rebuild it in React Native. This takes approximately 2-4 hours and is paid at your proposed rate. This is how I find the right person - not interviews alone.
