Senior Creative Frontend Engineer — UI/UX, Motion & Luxury Digital Experiences Contract-to-Hire | Remote | MedaStaré MedaStaré is a global fashion-tech platform bringing together artificial intelligence, personal style, fashion, and next-generation digital experiences. As we prepare for our global launch, we are looking for a Senior Creative Frontend Engineer who can do more than simply translate designs into code. We are looking for someone with a strong product mindset, exceptional UI/UX sensibility, advanced frontend engineering skills, and a refined understanding of motion and interaction design. The first priority of this role will be to redesign and build MedaStaré’s global launch website from the ground up, delivering a polished, production-ready experience. We are not looking for a standard SaaS website or template-based landing page. Our goal is to combine the product storytelling discipline and interaction quality of Apple with the visual sophistication of a luxury fashion house — creating a digital experience that feels technological, editorial, elegant, premium, and timeless. The website may include advanced scroll-based animations, cinematic transitions, 3D elements, depth, liquid or glass effects, selective holographic details, and interactive product storytelling. However, these effects must always serve the brand and user experience rather than exist purely for visual spectacle. For this reason, we are looking for someone who combines strong frontend engineering with genuine creative and design judgment. This role is not intended to end with the website. Following a successful launch project, we would like the right candidate to become more deeply integrated into the MedaStaré technical team and potentially transition into a full-time role. You will work alongside our existing technical team and support frontend development, UI/UX, product interfaces, interaction systems, design systems, and broader digital product experiences. What we are looking for Advanced experience with React / Next.js and TypeScript Strong expertise in modern HTML, CSS, responsive frontend development, and cross-device experiences Strong hands-on UI/UX capability Ability to design and improve interfaces directly in Figma Experience with design systems and scalable component architecture Advanced experience with GSAP, Framer Motion, or similar animation frameworks Strong experience with ScrollTrigger and scroll-based storytelling Experience with Three.js, WebGL, or React Three Fiber is a major advantage Experience creating sophisticated 3D, depth, parallax, and cinematic web interactions Ability to maintain the same level of visual quality across desktop and mobile Strong understanding of performance optimization and Core Web Vitals Experience with API integrations and production-grade frontend architecture Excellent visual judgment in typography, spacing, hierarchy, motion, and luxury digital design Strong English communication skills Ability to work independently, propose creative ideas, and challenge an existing design direction when there is a stronger solution Initial Project The first major deliverable will be the redesign and development of MedaStaré’s global launch website. Our core brand identity, product information, logos, content, and selected visual assets already exist. However, we are not looking for someone who simply assembles existing assets. We expect the successful candidate to contribute at a creative-direction level, helping define how the MedaStaré brand should be experienced digitally. The website will introduce and explain products and experiences across the MedaStaré ecosystem, including: MedAI™️ Closeté™️ EraFusion™️ MuseMatch™️ StareMatch™️ FashionStare™️ StyleTrack™️ MedaVision™️ MedArena™️ and additional MedaStaré features. Each product should clearly communicate what it does, why it matters, and what value it creates for the user, supported by premium visual storytelling and interaction design. For example, the Closeté experience includes custom motion concepts where wardrobe pieces appear individually from the closet, move into focus, disappear, and transition into the next item as the user scrolls through different stages of the experience. Working Model We will begin on a contract / freelance basis. The first major deliverable will be the global launch website. However, our longer-term intention is to integrate the successful candidate into the MedaStaré technical team and, based on performance and mutual fit, potentially transition the role into a full-time position. For this reason, we prefer candidates who are interested in building a longer-term relationship with MedaStaré rather than completing a one-off website project.
