Senior Data Scientist – ROAS Forecasting

Senior Data Scientist – Revenue & ROAS Forecasting We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help build predictive models for mobile game studios and consumer apps. The core project is to develop a model that can predict future revenue and ROAS curves from early performance data, helping us make smarter underwriting and capital deployment decisions. What You’ll Work On * Build models to forecast revenue, ROAS and payback curves * Test predictions at varying levels of granularity, particularly channel/source level * Connect to and work with MMP data to ingest UA, attribution, revenue and performance data * Determine how early we can reliably predict longer-term revenue and ROAS performance * Backtest and validate forecasting models * Identify the signals most predictive of future performance * Quantify confidence ranges and downside scenarios * Recommend the optimal forecasting methodology and level of granularity What We’re Looking For * Senior-level experience in data science, predictive modeling and forecasting * Strong Python, SQL and statistical modeling skills * Experience working with MMP/attribution data and APIs is highly preferred * Experience with cohort analysis and model validation * Ability to independently solve complex, open-ended quantitative problems * Experience with mobile gaming, consumer apps, UA, ad-tech, LTV/ROAS modeling or fintech is a strong plus Initial Project We envision starting with a focused two-week project using simulated portfolio data. The objective is to develop and test an initial revenue and ROAS prediction model and determine the most effective level of forecasting granularity. Ultimately, we want to answer one key question: How accurately and how early can we predict where a game or consumer app’s revenue and ROAS curves are heading?
