**Senior Full\-Stack / Algorithmic Trading Engineer Long\-Term Technical Partner \(OKX\)**

I’m looking for an experienced senior developer to become the long-term technical partner for an algorithmic trading platform. Important: this project is NOT starting from scratch. The core market-making bot has already been built and the strategy, trading logic, order execution, inventory management and risk-control framework are already in place. The bot has also been tested in simulation and used in live trading. We are now moving the complete system to OKX Futures and need to finish the final production stage and build the complete infrastructure around the trading engine. I am looking for one strong technical person who can take ownership of the entire technical side of the project, rather than someone who only completes individual development tasks. What still needs to be done 1. Finalize the existing trading system * Review and finish the existing market-making bot * Complete and validate the OKX Futures integration * Production-harden order execution and order management * Validate fills, partial fills, cancellations and position management * Finalize risk controls and safety mechanisms * Handle WebSocket disconnects, reconnects and state recovery * Ensure the bot can operate reliably 24/7 * Set up proper logging, monitoring and alerts 2. Server & infrastructure You will be responsible for helping select, purchase/provision and configure the required server infrastructure. This includes: * Production servers * Linux environment * Docker/containerization * Database * Secure secrets management * Development/staging/production environments * Deployment * CI/CD * Monitoring * Backups * Automatic recovery * Infrastructure security 3. Multi-client / multi-account architecture The platform must support multiple clients. Each client will connect their own OKX account through API credentials. The system needs: * Secure OKX API connection * API permission verification * Encrypted credential storage * Separate trading state for every client * Separate risk management for every client * Isolated bot instances/accounts * Start/stop/restart functionality * Automatic recovery * Central monitoring of all bot instances * Architecture that can scale as more clients are added Client API connections must use trading/read permissions only. Withdrawal access must never be required. 4. Complete client dashboard A professional customer portal needs to be built where clients can: * Create and manage their account * Log in securely * Connect their OKX account * Verify their API connection * Activate/use the trading system * View account balance/equity * View trading performance * View P&L * View trade history * View bot status * View relevant risk information * Manage relevant account settings The dashboard needs to be professional, secure and suitable for real paying clients. 5. Admin dashboard We also need an internal administration platform where we can: * View and manage clients * View connected OKX accounts * Monitor all running bot instances * View platform/server health * View errors and alerts * View risk events * Review logs * Start/stop accounts when necessary * Manage client/account status 6. Backend & database The complete backend around the trading system still needs to be built/finalized, including: * Backend/API architecture * Database architecture * Authentication * Authorization * Client management * Exchange account management * Performance data * Trading statistics * Reporting * Fee administration * Website/platform integration 7. Website & complete product The trading engine ultimately needs to become a complete client-ready product. This includes the website/platform integration, onboarding flow, client portal, backend, trading infrastructure and administration environment. Who I am looking for I am not looking for someone to build another generic trading bot from scratch. I am also not looking for a developer who only wants to complete a few tickets and then leave. I’m looking for someone who can understand the existing system, finish what is required, build the infrastructure and platform around it, and eventually take technical ownership of the product. Ideally you have strong experience with: * Algorithmic trading systems * Market-making systems * Cryptocurrency exchange APIs * OKX or similar derivatives exchanges * REST APIs * WebSockets * Order lifecycle/state management * Node.js * TypeScript/JavaScript * Backend development * PostgreSQL or similar databases * Docker * Linux * DevOps * Cloud/server infrastructure * React / Next.js or similar frontend frameworks * Authentication & security * Multi-tenant/multi-account architecture * Production monitoring and high-availability systems You do not need to be the world’s best frontend designer. The most important thing is that you are technically strong enough to understand and take responsibility for the complete system. Long-term opportunity This is important: I am not looking for a normal short-term freelancer/client relationship. I am looking for someone who is interested in building this business together for the long term. I will focus primarily on the commercial side: clients, sales, partnerships, marketing and growing the company. I want to find someone who can take responsibility for the technical side: the trading technology, infrastructure, platform and eventually helping build/manage the wider technical team as the company grows. There is already substantial development completed, so you are not joining an idea with nothing built. You are joining at the stage where we need to turn the existing technology into a complete production business. For the right person, I am open to discussing a long-term performance/incentive-based partnership structure aligned with the growth of the company. We can discuss the exact structure privately if there is a strong mutual fit. Confidentiality The trading strategy and source code are proprietary. I will not send the complete source code to applicants. During an initial call I can explain: * What has already been built * The current architecture * How the system works at a high level * What still needs to be completed * The business/product vision Full access to the proprietary code will only be provided to the selected person after confidentiality and cooperation terms have been agreed.
