TITLE: GIS Data Engineer Needed to Repair & Layer Multidisciplinary Deep-Time Research Dataset

PROJECT OVERVIEW: I am an independent researcher mapping a complex, multidisciplinary deep-time framework spanning archaeogenetics, zooarchaeology, paleobotany, and historical linguistics. I have collected a significant amount of data, but I don't know how to sort and map it. AI has been less than useful. The raw evidence coordinates and timelines (Years Before Present / BP) are safely intact inside the rows, but standard text-importers are choking on the structural layout. WHAT I NEED COMPLETED: 1. DATA ISOLATION: Write an automated parsing script (Python/Pandas preferred) to read my master data sets, isolate rows by ID prefixes (PVPROP, RSTAR, AASF), and output separate clean single-table layers without flattening, summarizing, or dropping columns. 2. QGIS MAP STYLING: Import the clean files into QGIS. Map out dog population movement paths as vector arrows, and land agricultural domestication objects as specific site coordinates. 3. VISUALIZATION RULES: Synchronize the entire timeline across all layers onto a single graduated color spectrum based on Age (Years BP). Use an opacity expression formula on the plant clades so their marker transparency fades back in time relative to their explicit Phylogenetic Lag duration. Or something similar. DELIVERABLES: - A clean, verified, unflattened dataset separated into logical table structures. - A fully styled, local QGIS project file (.qgz) structured into standalone map layers. - An interactive web-ready HTML map dashboard.
