Website Search Upgrade, Gated Regulatory Document Downloads, and Odoo CRM Pipeline Integration

Platform: WordPress (Elementor) Priority: Search function + gated downloads with Oodo integration and pipeline development for Sales team 1. Project Summary The client is a superyacht rigging, load-testing, inspection and certification company (www.rsb-rigging.com), built on WordPress with the Elementor page builder. We need three connected pieces of work added to this existing site: A high functioning site search that also covers a new library of regulatory and manufacturing-guideline documents. A “gated download” system: visitors give their name, email and a few details before receiving a document. Automatic syncing of every request into our Odoo CRM as a contact and pipeline opportunity, so sales can see and act on document-driven interest without anyone re-typing data. A working starter plugin (PHP/JS) implementing all of this is provided with this brief — see Section 7. Your job is to review it, adapt it to our actual Odoo instance and site design, harden it for production, and ship it. Treat it as a strong first draft, not a black box: change anything that doesn't fit our environment. 2. Background The site (rsb-rigging.com) currently covers Services (Standing Rigging & Spars, Running Rigging, Load Testing, Specialised Services), Projects, Suppliers, News, and Contact, with an existing Privacy Policy page. Search today is the default WordPress search: no relevance ranking, no way to filter by document vs. page, and it won't be able to find items in a new document library by regulation/reference number. Separately, we currently have no way to gate regulatory documents, class-association guidance, or manufacturer/supplier product and inspection guidelines (e.g. relating to the rigging hardware and cordage brands listed on our Suppliers page) behind a lead form, and no automatic datacapture feature between website activity and our Odoo CRM — downloads and interest are to be used for sales team
