This Scope of Work (“Agreement”) is entered into as of [Effective Date] by and between: Client: Sim Birnbaum / [Legal Business Name] Address: [Client Address] Email: [Client Email] and Contractor: Jeva Cabsag Address: [Contractor Address] Email: [Contractor Email] 1. Purpose of the Engagement The Client engages the Contractor to provide ongoing WordPress maintenance, website content management, basic on-page SEO implementation, landing page support, and website quality assurance. The overall purpose of the engagement is to strengthen the Client’s online presence and clearly communicate the Client’s work helping fathers and men view massage and bodywork as necessary tools for stress management, personal well-being, and connection rather than as occasional luxuries. 2. Contract Term This Agreement will begin on [Effective Date] and continue for six months, ending on [End Date], unless terminated earlier in accordance with this Agreement. The Parties will conduct a formal review approximately three months after the Effective Date. During the review, the Parties may discuss: Work completed and current priorities; Weekly workload and available hours; Communication and workflow; The effectiveness of the working relationship; Any requested changes to the scope, rate, schedule, or responsibilities; and Whether the engagement should continue under the existing terms. Any changes agreed upon during the review must be confirmed in writing. 3. Scope of Services 3.1 WordPress Maintenance The Contractor may perform the following ongoing WordPress maintenance services: Update WordPress plugins, themes, and the WordPress core when appropriate; Review the website after updates for visible errors or conflicts; Perform general website content and administrative management; Make minor corrections to existing website pages; Update links, buttons, images, text, and other existing page elements; Review and correct broken or outdated internal links when identified; Update menus, navigation items, and page hierarchy; Perform minor troubleshooting within the Contractor’s experience and the capabilities of the existing website; Coordinate with the Client regarding issues that require a developer, hosting provider, security specialist, or other third party. Plugin, theme, hosting, and third-party software functionality cannot be guaranteed by the Contractor. 3.2 Content Management The Contractor may provide the following content management services: Format and publish website pages and blog posts; Upload and properly format text, images, videos, and other Client-provided materials; Source appropriate Client-approved stock images; Perform light grammar, spelling, readability, and formatting corrections; Add or update internal links; Organize page headings and content sections; Update featured images, categories, tags, excerpts, and author information; Review pages on desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes; Adjust content presentation using the website’s existing page builder, theme, templates, and available settings; Update website menus and navigation as new content is published; and Connect relevant website content to the Client’s social media, podcast, video, and other external content. Unless separately approved, the Contractor is responsible for formatting, light editing, and publishing—not writing complete long-form articles or developing a full content strategy from scratch. 3.3 Blog Management The Client intends to begin publishing approximately one blog post every two weeks. For each blog post, the Contractor may: Format and publish copy supplied or approved by the Client; Perform light proofreading and readability edits; Add headings, internal links, images, alt text, excerpts, categories, and tags; Apply basic on-page SEO settings; Review the published post on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices; and Add relevant calls to action and links to the Client’s services, podcast episodes, social content, or other related resources. The publishing schedule depends on the Client supplying or approving the necessary copy, images, links, and supporting materials. 3.4 Basic On-Page SEO Implementation The Contractor may implement basic on-page SEO updates, including: Editing SEO page titles; Editing meta descriptions; Adding or updating image alt text; Adding internal links; Improving heading structure; Updating page slugs when appropriate and approved; Formatting content for improved readability; Connecting related pages, blog posts, podcast episodes, and social media content The Contractor does not represent herself as an advanced technical SEO consultant, conversion-rate optimization specialist, or sales-conversion strategist. The Contractor does not guarantee: Specific search engine rankings; A particular amount of organic traffic; Lead or sales volume; Search engine indexing timelines; Revenue growth; or Any other specific marketing result. 3.5 Landing Pages The Contractor may create and update landing pages using: Existing WordPress templates; Existing page builder components; Existing website styles; Reusable sections and layouts; Client-provided text, images, videos, links, and calls to action; and Features already available within the Client’s website. The initial landing page priority will be a page for the Homecoming Men’s Retreat scheduled for October ___, 2026, subject to the Client supplying the final event details, registration information, copy, images, and necessary links. Custom coding, custom application development, and fully original website design are not included. 3.6 Website Quality Assurance Before publishing or launching significant website updates, the Contractor may perform basic quality assurance, including: Checking buttons and calls to action; Reviewing the hero section and the upper portion of important pages; Checking links and navigation; Checking text and image formatting; Reviewing pages on desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes; Checking for obvious spacing, alignment, and display issues; Confirming that supplied videos and embeds display correctly; Checking basic forms or registration links when access is available; and Confirming that updated content appears on the intended page. Quality assurance will focus on visible website functionality and presentation. It does not include comprehensive testing, legal compliance auditing, advanced accessibility certification, or testing on every possible device and browser. 4. Services Outside the Scope Unless separately agreed upon in writing, the following services are not included: Custom PHP, JavaScript, CSS, or other programming; Building an entire website or page design from scratch; Advanced technical SEO audits or implementation; Link-building campaigns or backlink outreach; Guaranteed SEO rankings, lead generation, or conversion results; Paid advertising management; Full social media management; Podcast or video production and editing; Full-length copywriting or ghostwriting; Branding or graphic design from scratch; Complex e-commerce development; Custom software integrations or API development; Website migration; Malware removal or emergency cybersecurity response; Legal, medical, privacy, or regulatory compliance advice; Advanced accessibility certification; Purchase of premium plugins, themes, fonts, photographs, software, or subscriptions; and Work requiring a specialist developer, designer, SEO consultant, security professional, or legal professional. Any work outside the scope must be discussed and approved separately. Unless another rate is agreed upon, approved additional work will be billed at the Contractor’s regular hourly rate. 5. Hours and Availability The anticipated workload is approximately 10 hours per week
