AI Website Generation System - Niche-Aware, API-Driven, Design-System-Backed

I need someone to build a system that generates high-quality, niche-appropriate websites using AI, callable via API, similar in output quality to Hostinger AI / Wix ADI / 10Web - but self-hosted and owned by me. CORE STRUCTURE - A real design system / component library: fonts, color rules, spacing, button/card styles, section patterns - not left to the LLM's judgment on each run. - MD (or similar) instruction files per section/page type (hero, services, about, testimonials, FAQ, contact, footer, etc.) defining how each section should be built and what makes it good vs. bad. - A library of pre-approved, QA'd templates per niche/vertical, so generation assembles and customizes from a known-good pattern rather than inventing everything from scratch each time. - Must work across many different niches (contractors, salons, restaurants, events, retail, professional services, etc.), with a repeatable process for onboarding a new niche quickly. INPUT / OUTPUT - Input: structured business data (name, niche, city, phone, service list, photos, testimonials/reviews, scraped content from an existing site if available). - Output: a finished, hosted, mobile-responsive landing page - real, portable HTML/CSS I can host myself (no lock-in to a third-party builder with no export). - Must include: real photo handling with fallback to AI-generated imagery when none are available, and basic on-page SEO (proper title/meta/H1/schema). - Must support embedding a 3rd-party JS chat widget snippet without breaking layout. TECHNICAL INTEGRATION - Callable via API from my existing backend (Python) - I send business data in, I get back a hosted URL (or the HTML/assets) within a few minutes. - Generation must be reliable - consistent quality output, not hit-or-miss. - Cost per generated site needs to be low/scalable at volume (hundreds of generations per month). DELIVERABLES - The design system + MD instruction library, fully documented and owned by me. - A working generation pipeline/API integrated with my Python backend. - At least 3–5 fully built and QA'd niche templates as proof of concept. - A documented process for adding new niches going forward. IDEAL BACKGROUND - Has built or worked on an actual AI website generation product. - Strong front-end/design sense - able to explain why a layout works, not just generate one. - Comfortable with LLM APIs (Claude/GPT/OpenRouter) for structured content + code generation, and tools like Playwright for visual QA. - Can work against a Python backend and existing HTML template conventions. GOAL A self-owned, API-callable AI website generation system that reliably produces good-looking, niche-appropriate, SEO-decent websites in one automated pass, backed by a real design system and documentation.
