Chief Technology Officer (CTO) | Senior Full-Stack, AI & Technical Operations

MedaStaré is looking for a full-time, hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong Senior Full-Stack Engineering background. This is not a purely managerial role. We are looking for someone who can lead the technology function at executive level while also stepping directly into technical operations when necessary. Responsibilities * Own the overall technology strategy and technical roadmap * Lead architecture, engineering standards and technical execution * Manage and guide developers * Review code, pull requests and technical implementations * Work directly on critical technical issues when required * Debug production problems and resolve incidents * Oversee backend, frontend, APIs, databases and integrations * Lead AI / LLM integrations and technical implementation * Own security, scalability, performance and reliability * Manage releases, deployment processes and technical documentation * Work directly with the Founder & CEO on product and technical decisions * Take initiative and make independent technical decisions Ideal Candidate * Strong Senior Full-Stack Engineering background * Previous CTO, Head of Engineering, Technical Lead or Lead Engineer experience * Strong JavaScript / TypeScript experience * React / modern frontend experience * Node.js or equivalent backend experience * Strong API and database knowledge * Cloud infrastructure and DevOps understanding * AI / LLM integration experience * Experience with mobile products is a strong advantage * Strong production debugging and problem-solving ability We are specifically looking for a CTO who is comfortable both leading the team and entering the codebase when needed.
