DigitalOcean / DevOps Expert Needed – Guided Deployment of Dockerized Next.js + FastAPI App

I’m looking for an experienced DevOps/DigitalOcean engineer to guide me through deploying a production web application to a DigitalOcean Droplet. This is my first time using DigitalOcean Droplets, so I do not want someone to simply deploy it for me. I want to perform the deployment myself through screen sharing while you guide me, explain the important steps, review my configuration, and help troubleshoot issues. The goal is for me to understand the process well enough to handle future deployments myself. Application Stack The application is already dockerized and uses: Next.js – Frontend FastAPI – Backend/API PostgreSQL – Database Redis Docker / Docker Compose Git/GitHub What I Need Help With I need guidance on: Setting up and securing the DigitalOcean Droplet SSH keys, users, firewall and server hardening Production Docker/Docker Compose configuration Deploying the Next.js, FastAPI, PostgreSQL and Redis services Proper Docker networking and avoiding unnecessary public ports Nginx/reverse proxy configuration Domain/DNS configuration HTTPS/SSL Secure management of .env files and production secrets PostgreSQL security, persistent volumes and backups Docker/server performance optimization Logging and basic monitoring Restart/recovery strategy GitHub Actions/CI/CD for easier future deployments Best approach for deploying updates and rolling back failed releases Security and production optimization are important parts of this task, not optional extras. Required Experience You should have strong hands-on experience with: DigitalOcean Droplets, Ubuntu/Linux, Docker, Docker Compose, Next.js, FastAPI/Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, SSL, server security and CI/CD. Proof of Experience Required Please provide: Examples of similar production deployments you have completed, preferably on DigitalOcean. Previous work/case studies involving Dockerized applications. A brief explanation of the security measures you implemented. Your experience with CI/CD and production deployment automation. Please do not send a generic proposal. I am specifically looking for someone with proven production deployment and server-security experience. Important This will be a guided deployment through screen sharing. I will execute the commands while you guide me and explain what we are doing and why.
