Experienced WordPress backend developer to rebuild a document plugin

Looking for a careful, experienced WordPress backend developer for a scoped project, with the goal of working together long term, part time or full time. We care about quality and speed. You ship it tested, with unit tests. We run acceptance on a staging copy against the spec before sign-off. The job: rebuild an old custom plugin on a WooCommerce Subscriptions site that generates PDF documents for members, such as agreements and notices. The new plugin stores templates with versions, records when a member accepts a document, generates the PDFs, keeps an archive per member, sends documents by email, shows a documents page, and migrates the old files and records. The spec is written. You get the specs, the old code and a data sample, and you own the technical decisions. We answer business questions quickly. We use AI coding tools and automated review, and you are welcome to as well. You are responsible for the whole plugin: design, code, tests, QA, migration, and that it works in production. - Budget is negotiable. - You must attach your github profile URL and/or portfolio of wordpress plugins to be considered. - Overlap with Eastern Time Zone is preferred.
