Full-Stack AI Engineer Needed for AgentFlow AI – SaaS MVP

Project Overview We’re looking for a Full-Stack AI Engineer to help build AgentFlow AI, an AI-powered SaaS platform designed to simplify business workflows through intelligent assistants, document processing, and AI-driven automation. The goal of this initial engagement is to develop a functional MVP that demonstrates the core concept, with potential for continued development as the platform evolves. Initial Scope of Work The freelancer will focus on implementing a small, well-defined subset of the platform's core functionality. 1. AI-Powered Chat - Integrate one LLM provider, such as OpenAI. - Build a basic conversational interface. - Display AI responses and maintain basic conversation history. 2. Document Intelligence & RAG - Support PDF uploads. - Extract document text and generate embeddings. - Implement basic vector search and retrieval. - Allow users to ask questions about uploaded documents. 3. Backend & API Development - Build basic REST APIs using Python and FastAPI. - Implement input validation and error handling. - Connect the backend to the AI functionality and document workflow. 4. Frontend Development - Create a clean, responsive interface using React or Next.js. - Include a simple chat interface and document upload section. - Display responses and relevant error messages clearly. 5. Code Delivery & Documentation - Maintain organized source code in GitHub. - Provide setup instructions and environment configuration. - Include basic testing and a brief implementation walkthrough. Preferred Technical Stack - Frontend: React / Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS - Backend: Python, FastAPI - AI: OpenAI API, embeddings, basic RAG - Vector Storage: pgvector, Chroma, or a suitable alternative - Tools: Git, GitHub, Docker Equivalent technologies are welcome if they help deliver the agreed scope efficiently. What We’re Looking For - Proven experience building AI-powered applications - Strong Python and API development skills - Practical experience with LLM integrations and RAG - Familiarity with modern frontend development - Ability to troubleshoot independently and deliver clean code - Clear communication and reliable project updates Deliverables - A working MVP demonstrating AI chat and basic document-based Q&A - Frontend and backend source code - Functional AI and document retrieval integration - Basic validation and error handling - Setup instructions and documentation This engagement is intended to establish a working foundation and evaluate technical fit, code quality, and collaboration. Multi-LLM orchestration, advanced AI agents, enterprise authentication, analytics, Redis, MongoDB, and production-scale deployment are outside the initial scope. Successful completion may lead to additional milestones covering these features and further development of the AgentFlow AI platform. We’re looking for a developer who can turn a defined AI use case into a clean, functional implementation and potentially collaborate with us long-term.
