## Full-Stack Developer Needed to Complete Existing Food Delivery PWA — MyManje I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help **complete and launch an existing food delivery PWA called MyManje**. ### IMPORTANT: This project is NOT starting from zero. A significant amount of product planning, business logic, UI/UX design, customer flows, operational workflows, and initial PWA work has already been completed. I am looking for a developer who can first **review what already exists**, determine what is usable and what remains to be completed, and then help bring the project to a stable production-ready MVP. ### About MyManje MyManje is a simple food ordering and delivery platform being developed initially for **Cap-Haïtien, Haiti**. The goal is NOT to build a complicated Uber Eats or DoorDash clone. The MVP should remain **simple, lightweight, mobile-first, and optimized for users who may have slower or unreliable internet connections**. Customers will access MyManje through a **Progressive Web App (PWA)** rather than being required to download a native iOS or Android application. ### Work Already Completed / Defined A significant portion of the product has already been planned or designed, including: * Brand identity and logo * MVP business model * Customer ordering workflow * Restaurant workflow * Delivery workflow * Payment workflow * UI/UX direction and multiple PWA screens * Restaurant/menu structure * Cart and checkout flow * Order confirmation/status flow * Admin operational workflow * Service fee and delivery fee structure * Cancellation/refund logic * Initial PWA development * Technical and operational planning The developer will receive the existing project/code and available documentation for review. ### Core Customer Flow Customer opens MyManje → selects a restaurant → browses the menu → adds items to cart → checkout → pays → order is received → restaurant prepares the order → driver delivers → order is completed. The initial MVP will launch with only a small number of restaurants in Cap-Haïtien. ### Payments The platform is being designed primarily for: * Visa * Mastercard / Debit Card * MonCash/local payment support as applicable to the MVP Payment integration should initially be developed and tested using the appropriate sandbox/test environments before production activation. Experience with payment gateway/API integration is therefore important. ### Lean MVP — Keep It Simple I specifically do NOT want unnecessary complexity added to the first release. The MVP does NOT require: * Driver mobile application * Live GPS tracking * Complex route optimization * Driver/customer chat * Large restaurant management systems * Advanced analytics * Loyalty programs * AI features * Dozens of unnecessary screens Some operations will intentionally remain manual during the initial pilot. For example, the admin may receive an order, contact the restaurant, coordinate with the driver, and manually update order status. The objective is to launch quickly, validate the business in the real market, collect feedback, and automate additional operations later. ### What I Need From the Developer The selected developer should be able to: 1. Review the existing MyManje codebase and documentation. 2. Identify what is already functional and reusable. 3. Identify incomplete, broken, or missing functionality. 4. Recommend what is necessary for MVP versus what should wait for Phase 2. 5. Continue the existing project where technically reasonable rather than automatically rebuilding it. 6. Complete the customer PWA. 7. Complete the necessary backend/database functionality. 8. Complete the admin/order-management functionality. 9. Implement or finalize payment gateway/API integration. 10. Make the application responsive and mobile-friendly. 11. Optimize performance for slower internet connections. 12. Test the complete customer-to-delivery workflow. 13. Fix bugs and important security issues. 14. Deploy the MVP to production. 15. Provide clean documentation for future maintenance. ### Preferred Experience Experience with: * Progressive Web Apps (PWA) * React * Node.js * REST APIs * Database development * Payment gateway/API integration * Responsive/mobile-first development * Authentication and web security * Git/GitHub * Cloud/production deployment Experience with food delivery, restaurant ordering, marketplace, e-commerce, or similar platforms is a plus. ### Existing Code Review Comes First **Please do not assume the entire application needs to be rebuilt.** Before proposing a major rebuild, I expect the selected developer to review the existing work. After reviewing it, I want a clear assessment explaining: * What is already usable? * What needs to be fixed? * What is missing? * What remains necessary for MVP launch? * What should be moved to Phase 2? * How long will the remaining work realistically take? * What will it cost to complete and deploy? If a rebuild of any component is recommended, please explain the technical reason. ### Budget & Milestones The **$1,500 posted budget is an initial estimate and is negotiable based on the actual amount of work remaining after the existing project is reviewed.** I prefer a **milestone-based fixed-price arrangement** rather than paying the entire project amount upfront. The first step should be reviewing the existing project/codebase and establishing the remaining scope.
