Malta VAT Return Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Malta VAT specialist to assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns for a Malta-registered company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Maltese VAT regulations, experience working with international businesses, and be available to start immediately. Responsibilities Review accounting records and transaction data. Prepare and submit Malta VAT returns accurately and on time. Reconcile VAT control accounts and identify discrepancies. Advise on VAT treatment of transactions where required. Ensure compliance with current Malta VAT regulations. Communicate any filing requirements, deadlines, or compliance issues. Requirements Proven experience preparing and filing Malta VAT returns. Strong understanding of Maltese VAT legislation and reporting requirements. Accounting or bookkeeping background preferred. Experience working with international or cross-border transactions is an advantage. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent English communication skills. Available to start immediately.
