About the Product We are building Discover, the entry-level digital experience of an AI-powered Whole Health platform designed to help individuals better understand, track, and proactively manage their health. Discover will provide users with a simple, engaging digital health experience and create the foundation for deeper personalized care and future subscription upgrades. We are looking for a strong Mobile App Developer / Full-Stack Mobile Engineer to build the initial production-ready version of the Discover app. Role The developer will own the technical development of the Discover mobile application, working closely with the founders, product/design team, and clinical/product advisors. The ideal candidate is someone who can take Figma designs and product requirements and turn them into a polished, reliable mobile product with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities 1. Mobile App Development Build the Discover mobile application for iOS and Android. Convert Figma/UI designs into a high-quality, responsive mobile experience. Implement onboarding, user registration, login and profile management. Build the Whole Health assessment and health-profile experience. Develop dashboards showing user health information, goals and progress. Implement notifications, reminders and personalized health content. Ensure excellent app performance, usability and accessibility. 2. Backend & API Integration Develop or integrate backend APIs for: User accounts Health profiles Assessment responses Health metrics Digital health records Content management Notifications Subscription management Design secure and scalable data structures. Integrate third-party APIs and services where required. 3. AI Integration Integrate AI-powered health insights into the application. Work with the product team to implement AI-generated, personalized recommendations. Build appropriate safeguards around AI-generated health information. Ensure that AI outputs are presented as informational/personalized guidance rather than unsupported clinical diagnosis. 4. Subscription & Payments Implement the Discover subscription and future upgrade pathways. Integrate appropriate payment/subscription infrastructure. Support subscription status, renewal and cancellation. Build the architecture so additional plans such as Foundation, Thrive, Optimize and Signature Care can be added later. 5. Data Security & Privacy Implement secure authentication and authorization. Protect sensitive user health information. Follow secure coding and data-handling practices. Build with applicable Indian healthcare data/privacy requirements in mind. Maintain appropriate logging, encryption and access controls. 6. Testing & Deployment Write unit and integration tests for critical functionality. Conduct device and usability testing. Identify and resolve bugs. Manage app builds and releases through the relevant app stores. Establish a clean development, staging and production environment. Strong experience with Flutter or React Native. Experience developing and launching production mobile applications. Strong knowledge of APIs, databases and backend integration. Experience with authentication, payments and push notifications. Experience working with cloud platforms. Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX implementation. Experience with Git and modern software development practices. Ability to independently translate product requirements into working software. Preferred Experience building healthtech, fintech, wellness or other data-sensitive applications. Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs. Experience with health data or electronic health records. Experience with wearable/device/API integrations. Experience with subscription-based applications. Understanding of healthcare privacy and security requirements.
