Recreate WordPress Site on Latest Version

## WordPress Website Rebuild – Recreate Existing Site on Latest WordPress/PHP We currently have a WordPress website running on a **very old version of WordPress and PHP** using an outdated theme called **ChurchHope**. The existing theme and several plugins are no longer compatible with current versions of WordPress/PHP. Attempts to upgrade the existing website cause the theme, layout, and plugins to break. ### What We Need We are **not looking to upgrade or repair the existing WordPress installation**. Instead, we need an experienced WordPress developer to: 1. Set up a **brand-new WordPress installation** using the latest stable version of WordPress and a current supported version of PHP. 2. Use our existing live website as the visual reference. 3. **Manually recreate the website** on the new WordPress installation. 4. Reproduce the existing design, including: * Page layouts * Header and footer * Menus/navigation * Fonts and styling * Colours * Images * Forms * Mobile/responsive layout * Existing website content 5. Replace the old ChurchHope theme with a **modern, actively supported theme or page-building solution**. 6. Replace outdated plugins with current, supported alternatives where necessary. 7. Ensure the new website works properly on the **latest WordPress and PHP versions**. 8. Ensure the site is responsive and works properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile. 9. Migrate/recreate the required content from the existing website. 10. Test the completed website before it replaces the current production site. ### Important The goal is for the **new website to look as close as possible to the existing website**, but without depending on the old ChurchHope theme or outdated plugins. We want a clean, maintainable WordPress site that can safely receive future WordPress, PHP, theme, and plugin updates. The existing production website must remain operational while the new website is being developed.
