Rhino / Grasshopper Computational Designer for 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP)

We are seeking an experienced Rhino/Grasshopper Computational Designer to help develop parametric building models and robotic printing workflows for a 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) affordable housing project in Hawaii. We are interested in applicants with backgrounds such as: • Computational Designer • Grasshopper Developer • Parametric Designer • Robotic Fabrication Engineer • Digital Fabrication Engineer • Advanced BIM / Rhino Specialist Required Skills • Rhino 8 • Grasshopper • Parametric design • Architectural 3D modeling • Ability to read architectural and structural drawings • Strong communication in English Preferred Experience • 3D Concrete Printing (3DCP) • Robotic fabrication • KUKA|prc, Robots, or similar Grasshopper robot plugins • Revit and/or AutoCAD • Python or C# scripting • Digital fabrication or industrial robotics Initial Tasks • Develop parametric 3DCP wall systems • Create Grasshopper definitions for walls, openings, and reinforcement layouts • Assist with robot toolpath generation and print sequencing • Help build a reusable library of parametric wall components for future projects Please include: • Portfolio of Rhino/Grasshopper work • Relevant project experience • Hourly rate • Weekly availability • Time zone This project has the potential to become a long-term collaboration as we expand our 3D concrete printing design capabilities.
