Senior FastAPI Developer Needed (MongoDB, Azure) – Ongoing Project

We are looking for an experienced **Python/FastAPI developer** to join an ongoing project. The application is already under development, and we need someone who can improve the existing codebase, add new features, and help maintain the project long-term. ## Project Overview The application is built with **FastAPI** and **MongoDB** and includes: * Employee and project record management * Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) * JWT authentication * Dockerized development environment ## Responsibilities * Build and improve the report generation functionality. * Generate reports using the company's existing data stored in Excel sheets. * Review the existing codebase and identify bugs and performance issues. * Refactor the code to improve maintainability and project structure. * Fix existing issues throughout the application. * Deploy and maintain the application on Microsoft Azure. * Collaborate on ongoing feature development and improvements. ## Required Skills * Strong experience with Python and FastAPI * MongoDB * JWT Authentication and Role-Based Access Control * Docker * Azure deployment and cloud services * Experience working with Excel data processing (Pandas/OpenPyXL or similar) * REST API design and development * Git and collaborative development workflows * Clean code, refactoring, and debugging skills ## Nice to Have * Experience optimizing existing applications * CI/CD experience * Experience with long-term SaaS or internal business applications ## Project Type * Ongoing project * Long-term collaboration preferred * Looking for an independent freelancer with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
