Senior Flutter & PHP Developer — Single Project

We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter and PHP Developer to develop, test, and launch a mobile application and its associated website for a current, single project (design is currently ready on figma). The ideal candidate will deliver a secure, scalable, production-ready product while using AI-assisted development tools to improve speed and quality. Scope of Work Develop a cross-platform mobile application using Flutter/Dart for Android and iOS. Develop and maintain the project website and backend services using PHP (Code ignitor experience preferred). Build and integrate RESTful APIs, databases, third-party services, authentication, and payment or other required integrations. Deploy the app and website to production, including app-store submission support if applicable. Provide post-launch support for critical issues during the launch period. Required Experience Proven senior-level experience in Flutter and PHP development. A verifiable portfolio of at least 10 published or completed mobile applications; applicants must provide links, store listings, case studies, or code samples. Strong experience building and consuming REST APIs and working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Experience with Git-based version control, code reviews, and structured development workflows. Demonstrated experience using AI tools—such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar—to accelerate development, debug issues, generate tests, and improve documentation, while independently validating all output. Security & Quality Requirements Implement secure coding practices, including protected authentication, authorization, encrypted data storage, secure API communication, and safe handling of user data. Conduct professional testing before launch, including unit, widget, integration, performance, compatibility, and security testing. Identify and resolve vulnerabilities, crashes, edge cases, and performance bottlenecks before release. Keep Flutter, PHP, dependencies, and libraries updated and free from known security issues. Documentation & Maintainability Write clean, modular, well-commented, and maintainable code. Prepare clear technical documentation, including setup instructions, architecture overview, API documentation, database structure, deployment steps, and future-update guidance. Ensure the codebase can be easily maintained, extended, or handed over to another developer after project completion. Deliverables Fully functional Flutter mobile application for Android and iOS. Fully functional PHP-based website and backend. Secure API integrations and database implementation. Test reports, security checklist, and pre-launch quality assurance results. Complete source code, documentation, and deployment handover. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and app deployment tools. Familiarity with OWASP security practices for web and mobile applications. Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, crash reporting, and cloud hosting. Ability to communicate progress clearly and meet agreed milestones.
