Senior Full-Stack Developer / Software Architect for Real-Time Streaming Platform

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer / Software Architect to help transform an existing software prototype into a secure, scalable, production-ready application. This is not a project starting from zero. A working prototype, UI, existing codebase, technical documentation, and initial integration work are already available. The selected developer will first review the existing system and then recommend what should be retained, improved, refactored, or rebuilt for production. The project involves a real-time, multi-user web application with live streaming, messaging/chat, third-party API integrations, automation, administrative controls, and external broadcasting software integrations. We are particularly interested in developers with experience in areas such as: Node.js / TypeScript and modern frontend development Real-time applications and WebSockets REST APIs and third-party API integrations Live video/streaming technologies OBS and/or RTMP-related integrations OAuth2 and secure authentication PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar backend technologies Docker and cloud deployment Secure credential/secrets management Scalable backend architecture Logging, monitoring, testing, and production reliability The initial engagement will involve technical review and architecture planning followed by hands-on development. We are looking for someone who can think beyond individual coding tasks and help make sound architectural decisions for a commercial production environment. Experience taking an existing prototype or MVP through production deployment is highly preferred. This may develop into a long-term engagement for the right person.
