Software engineer for Research conversations

We’re a data company collecting recorded professional conversations to help improve AI systems. We are seeking experienced Software engineers for a 30-minute research conversation focused on Owning end-to-end development of scalable, real-time systems, including architecture, backend, infrastructure, integrations, AI technologies, deployment, and performance optimization. Participants should be comfortable sharing insights, discussing challenges, and engaging in follow-up questions. Requirements - Relevant professional experience in this field. - Strong speaking and conversation skills: communicate clearly, give thoughtful, detailed answers, listen carefully, and sustain a natural, engaged discussion. - A reliable laptop or desktop capable of running a browser-based AI interview and recording video without technical issues. - A good-quality camera and microphone, stable internet, and a quiet, well-lit space. Your face must be clearly visible, with filters and background blur off, and your speech easy to understand. Payment and acceptance $10-15 USD fixed payment per participant for one accepted 30-minute recording. Acceptance requires a complete session, relevant and engaged participation, clear audio/video, and following the agreed instructions. Submissions with poor audio or video quality will not be accepted. Payment is released after review and acceptance through Upwork’s fixed-price process. Share genuine professional experiences and perspectives without disclosing confidential or privileged information. Recordings may be licensed to help improve AI systems. Recording terms will be shared before you accept, and the contract and funded milestone will be in place before work begins. Session instructions will be shared after hiring.
