WordPress & Shopify Expert We are looking for an experienced WordPress & Shopify Expert to join our team for ongoing web development projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience building, customizing, optimizing, and maintaining high-quality websites and eCommerce stores. We are looking for someone who can work independently, understand requirements quickly, suggest the right technical approach, and deliver clean, scalable, and high-performance solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop and customize WordPress websites from scratch and existing themes. Work extensively with WooCommerce, including product catalogs, variations, checkout, payment gateways, shipping, and custom functionality. Develop and customize Shopify stores, including themes, sections, templates, Liquid, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs. Convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive websites. Customize or develop WordPress/Shopify themes based on project requirements. Build custom features, integrations, APIs, plugins, apps, and third-party integrations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical, functional, and compatibility issues. Optimize websites for speed, Core Web Vitals, SEO, security, and scalability. Ensure responsive performance across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Work with payment gateways, CRM, marketing tools, analytics, shipping systems, and other third-party services. Handle website migrations, upgrades, theme updates, and maintenance. Follow clean coding standards and maintain well-structured, reusable code. Perform proper testing before deployment and ensure cross-browser compatibility. Communicate clearly regarding progress, technical challenges, timelines, and solutions. Required Skills WordPress WordPress, WooCommerce PHP, MySQL HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery Custom Theme & Plugin Development Elementor / WPBakery and other popular builders WooCommerce customization REST APIs and third-party integrations WordPress performance optimization Security, debugging, and troubleshooting Shopify Shopify & Shopify Plus experience is preferred Liquid HTML/CSS/JavaScript Custom Shopify theme development Shopify 2.0 / Online Store 2.0 Custom sections and templates Shopify Apps & API integrations Product, collection, cart and checkout customization Shopify performance optimization What We Expect 5+ years of relevant web development experience preferred. Strong experience with both WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Strong attention to detail and UI accuracy. Good problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and commitment to deadlines. Experience working with international clients is a plus. Availability for long-term/ongoing projects is preferred. Portfolio Requirement Please share your portfolio along with your proposal.
