AI Engineer & Automation Developer, LLM Agents, and Flow Optimization

Looking for an AI Engineer, who uses Claude Code MAX - This job requires having Claude Code MAX Subscription. *MONDAY - FRIDAY FULL TIME 830 AM TO 5 PM NEW YORK TIME ZONE USA JOB* - NO EXCEPTIONS --- We are an automotive e-commerce company looking for an AI Automation Engineer who can help us identify manual processes, design better workflows, and build reliable AI-powered automation across our business. Claude Code Max experience is important. We want someone who actively uses Claude Code as part of their engineering workflow and is comfortable working quickly inside an existing production codebase. What You'll Work On You will help design and build systems such as: Marketplace Automation — Automate the process of taking products from our catalog and publishing/managing them across eBay, Walmart, and other marketplaces. Product & Catalog Automation — Product ingestion, normalization, enrichment, validation, images, attributes, fitment data, inventory, pricing, and marketplace readiness. Returns Automation — Automate return intake, classification, routing, vendor credits, customer communication, exception handling, and reporting. Customer Service Automation — Build AI-assisted workflows for common customer questions, order issues, returns, fitment questions, shipping inquiries, and escalation to human agents. Search & Product Discovery — Analyze and improve how customers search for products and vehicles, identify failed searches, improve relevance, and ensure customers are being routed to the correct products. Fitment & Data Quality Automation — Build systems that detect questionable vehicle compatibility, product-data problems, duplicates, missing information, and other catalog issues before they affect customers. Order Operations — Identify repetitive ordering, routing, inventory, fulfillment, and vendor workflows that can be automated. Exception Monitoring — Build systems that automatically identify failures and unusual situations instead of requiring someone to manually discover them. Internal AI Tools — Build dashboards, agents, workflows, and tools that allow our team to operate faster with less repetitive manual work. Continuous Optimization — Study how our team currently works, identify inefficiencies, and propose/build better systems. What We're Looking For We don't just want someone who waits for a ticket and writes code. We want an engineer who can look at a workflow and ask: "Why are humans doing this manually, and how can we build a reliable system to handle it?" You should be comfortable with APIs, databases, automation, AI/LLMs, existing codebases, debugging, system architecture, and production deployments. Experience with Claude Code Max is strongly preferred and important for this role. The goal is simple: Turn repetitive work into systems. Use AI where it actually creates leverage. Automate intelligently while keeping humans involved where judgment is necessary.
