Backend Developer

Job Description: We're building out a remote Tech team and looking for a Backend Developer to design and maintain REST APIs for a growing product. This starts as a paid trial task, with the potential to convert into an ongoing, long-term engagement for the right fit. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain REST APIs Own database schema design and migrations Write clean, tested, documented code Participate in code review with the rest of the team Communicate proactively on progress and blockers Required Skills: - Node.js (3+ years) - PostgreSQL or similar relational DB -AWS (EC2, S3, RDS basics) - Git / code review workflow - Solid written English communication Nice to Have: Docker CI/CD pipeline experience Fintech or e-commerce background
