Title: Python developer to automate a family office Excel/reporting pipeline (openpyxl) Body: We run a monthly reporting pipeline (Python, openpyxl, pandas) that ingests custodial data exports and produces client-facing Excel and PDF reports. That part works well and is not being touched. Two adjacent deliverables are still built by hand each month in Excel, with no connection to the automated pipeline or to each other: a private-equity commitment and pacing summary, and a 24-month cash flow projection. We need a developer to build a small export/import layer that connects all three, so a single update to the source data flows through automatically instead of being retyped in two or three places. Scope, at a glance: - A new export script that reads our existing pipeline output plus an advisor-maintained reference workbook, and writes a structured JSON file - A population script that reads that JSON and writes the correct cells into the existing cash flow workbook (openpyxl), preserving the workbook's existing formulas - A set of reconciliation checks that fail loudly on any mismatch or unmapped entity name, rather than silently producing a wrong number - Everything runnable standalone, with a dry-run mode and clear logging We have a detailed technical spec already written, including a working prototype workbook and several concrete bugs already found and documented as test cases, so this is scoping-ready. A signed NDA precedes any access to real data or the codebase; development happens against a de-identified, structurally faithful prototype in the meantime. Ideal background: Python (openpyxl, pandas), comfortable reading and writing Excel formulas, careful about data integrity, experience with financial or operational reporting data a plus.
