Custom Python Script to Merge/Aggregate Daily Italian ISTAT XML Tourism Statistics Files

Job Description I am looking for a developer to write a simple, custom automation script (preferably in Python) to merge and aggregate data from three separate daily XML files into a single, compliant master XML file.The Problem:I run a guest house (affitacamere) in Puglia, Italy. My property management system (Lodgify) exports my monthly tourism statistical data (ISTAT/SPOT) as three separate XML files because my three rooms are mapped as independent listings. However, the official government reporting portal (DMS Puglia) only accepts one unified XML file linked to my single business ID. Because the XML structure is organized chronologically day-by-day rather than as a sequential guest list, standard online text-merging tools do not work. Merging them back-to-back creates duplicate date blocks, which the government portal rejects. I have added a word document with more detailed information on the XML file issues and an example of the monthly XML files for the 3 seperate properties that is generated from the Lodgify system. I am using a Mac, so please ensure the script or packaged executable is fully compatible with macOS.
