KIS Open API Real Time Three Minute Stock Momentum Scanner 1 Project Goal Develop a Windows 10 desktop application using the official Korea Investment and Securities KIS Open API. The application will find rising domestic and overseas stocks, monitor selected watchlist stocks, and track upward momentum using completed three minute candles. Trading orders and ChatGPT integration are not included. 2 Main Buttons The application will have three main selection buttons. Domestic Overseas Watchlist Domestic will display up to thirty rising domestic stocks using the KIS domestic ranking API. Overseas will collect rising stock results from KIS supported overseas exchanges, combine them, and display the top thirty stocks. Watchlist will load the users KIS watchlist groups, combine them, and remove duplicate stocks. All lists must update and reorder automatically as percentage changes. 3 Dashboard Layout The dashboard will contain the following columns from left to right. Watchlist Decline Fifteen Minutes or More Twelve Minutes Nine Minutes Six Minutes Three Minutes Live The program must follow the approved English user interface image. The order panel and ChatGPT panel must not be included. 4 Watchlist Monitoring The Watchlist panel will contain Rise and Fall buttons. When Rise is selected, the user can click a heart to register a stock for rising monitoring. Selected stocks must always remain visible in the Live column until the user removes them. When Fall is selected, the user can register stocks for decline monitoring. These stocks must remain in the Decline column and be sorted by the largest decline. The same stock can be monitored for both rising and falling movement. 5 Three Minute Rule All stage decisions will use completed three minute candles aligned with actual market time. At the beginning of each three minute candle, the opening price becomes the new reference price. If the candle closes above its opening price, the stock moves up one stage. If the candle closes at the same price as its opening price, the stock remains in the same stage. If the candle closes below its opening price, the stock moves down one stage. Temporary price movement before the candle closes must not immediately change the stage. 6 Stage Movement The stages are arranged as follows. Live Three Minutes Six Minutes Nine Minutes Twelve Minutes Fifteen Minutes or More A stock can move only one stage after each completed three minute candle. For example, a stock in Six Minutes moves to Nine Minutes after a rising candle. It moves down to Three Minutes after a falling candle. A stock in Live cannot enter Three Minutes after a falling candle. 7 Domestic and Overseas Stock Retention Domestic and overseas stocks may disappear from the current Live ranking when rankings change. If a stock has already entered Three Minutes or a higher stage, it must remain displayed and monitored even if it disappears from Live. It must continue moving up or down according to completed three minute candles. When it falls below the Three Minute stage, it is removed if it is no longer in the current Live ranking. A selected watchlist stock must never disappear from Live until the user removes it. 8 Stock Cards and Charts Each stock card must display its rank, name, current price, percentage change, and heart status. Clicking a stock card must display its real candlestick chart. The selected chart must remain fixed for ten seconds. If the user makes no new selection for ten seconds, the chart must automatically display the highest ranked stock in that column. Fake prices, simulated market movement, and fake charts are not allowed. 9 API Connection The application must contain an API Connect button. It must open a secure input window for the KIS App Key, App Secret, HTS ID, account information, and live or paper environment. Saved credentials must not be hardcoded or stored as unprotected plain text. The connection indicator must show the actual API connection status. The program must also contain Start, Stop, and Reset buttons. 10 Errors and Reconnection If valid market data is unavailable, the program must stop calculating and display a clear error message. It must automatically attempt to reconnect and restore required subscriptions. The program must not generate artificial data to fill missing periods. 11 Final Delivery The final delivery must include the following. Windows 10 executable or installer Complete source code Build and configuration instructions KIS API setup instructions Complete demonstration video The user must not need to install Python or development tools. A user interface image or demonstration video alone is not a completed product. 12 Developer Requirements Only developers with experience in brokerage APIs, REST APIs, WebSocket market data, candlestick processing, asynchronous programming, Windows desktop applications, and executable packaging should apply. KIS Open API experience is strongly preferred. The developer must review KIS limitations before accepting the contract. The client will explain the required behavior. The developer must already know how to implement the technical solution. The developer should not apply if basic implementation methods must be explained by the client. The work must begin immediately. The developer must provide the earliest realistic completion time before accepting the contract. The client previously lost approximately ten days waiting for a developer who could not complete the work. Unexplained delays, inactivity, serious errors, missing functions, or unauthorized changes may result in immediate contract termination. 13 Contract and Payment The total contract amount is three hundred United States dollars. Stage One is one hundred dollars. Stage One requires the complete working program, Windows executable, full source code, and demonstration video. It is not a partial prototype stage. Stage Two is two hundred dollars. Stage Two requires one day of operational testing of all agreed functions. The total three hundred dollars will be released after both stages are completed, the test is passed, and the complete program is accepted. All deliverables must be submitted directly through Upwork. The final application must use valid KIS API data and must match this specification.
