Laravel Developer: Audit & Complete API for Event Organization Platform (MVP)
Overview
We have an existing Laravel-based event organization system with a partially built API. We need an experienced Laravel developer to audit the current API, identify gaps against our MVP requirements, and build out the missing flows so the platform is fully functional and ready for launch.
This is not a from-scratch build — the core Laravel app and API already exist. We need someone who can quickly get up to speed on an existing codebase, spot what's broken/missing/inconsistent, and ship clean, production-ready fixes and features.
What We Need Done
Phase 1 — API Audit
Review the existing Laravel API (routes, controllers, models, migrations, auth)
Document current endpoints, request/response shapes, and auth flow
Identify missing, broken, or inconsistent endpoints against MVP requirements
Flag security issues, N+1 queries, validation gaps, and structural problems
Deliver a short written audit report with a prioritized punch list
Phase 2 — Complete Missing MVP FlowsBased on the audit, build out whatever is missing to reach MVP, which is expected to include (final list confirmed after audit):E
vent creation, editing, publishing, and cancellation flowsT

xact scope will be finalized once you've reviewed the codebase — we're open to your recommendations on what's truly needed for MVP vs. later phases.R
