Python Developer – Interactive Brokers (IBKR) Trading Automation We are a quantitative trading firm seeking an experienced Python developer to build the technology behind our automated equities trading platform using the Interactive Brokers (IBKR) API. This is **not** a strategy development role. Our quantitative models already exist. We are looking for someone who can build reliable, production-quality trading infrastructure. ### Responsibilities * Develop a robust integration with the Interactive Brokers TWS / IB Gateway API. * Automate order execution for U.S. equities. * Build a reliable order management system (OMS). * Implement position management and portfolio synchronization. * Develop risk management safeguards (position sizing, daily loss limits, exposure limits, duplicate order protection). * Handle order acknowledgements, fills, cancellations, and error recovery. * Build monitoring, logging, and alerting. * Create a simple dashboard to monitor trading activity and system health. * Optimize for reliability, low latency, and fault tolerance. ### Required Experience Please only apply if you have **real experience** building automated trading systems using the IBKR API. Required: * Python * Interactive Brokers API (ib_insync or native API) * Async programming * REST/WebSocket integrations * Production software architecture * Experience deploying cloud applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
