Salesforce + HubSpot Integration Engineer | Python & Next.js Internal Platform

Our sales team works in Salesforce. Our marketing team works in HubSpot. The two systems disagree about our customers, and people fill the gaps with spreadsheets. We are a mid-sized company hiring a part-time contract engineer to fix that. You will build the Python services that keep both platforms in sync, plus the Next.js app our teams use every day. Three problems waiting for you 1. One customer, two records. Sales and marketing enter the same person with different details. You will match and merge the records, and flag uncertain matches for review. 2. Updates that collide. A rep changes a deal stage while a HubSpot workflow reverses it. You will set field ownership rules that prevent overwrites and sync loops. 3. No single view. A rep preparing for a renewal call checks two systems and a spreadsheet. You will put that customer's history on one fast page. You should have • 5+ years building production software with Python and Next.js or TypeScript • Shipped integrations with both the Salesforce and HubSpot APIs • Experience handling rate limits, failed webhooks, retries, and large data imports • The confidence to work directly with non-technical teams and turn rough requests into clear plans What success looks like at 90 days Accounts, contacts, and deals sync reliably, failures trigger alerts, and the sales team uses one customer view every day.
