Senior AI/ML Developer Needed – Build Advanced E-Commerce AI Product from Scratch

We are looking for an *exceptional Senior AI/ML Developer / AI Engineer* to design and build a production-ready *AI-powered e-commerce product from scratch*. *Budget is not our primary concern.* We are willing to pay a premium rate for the right developer who has strong, proven experience building real-world AI products. We are looking for quality, technical depth, and long-term reliability. ### What You’ll Work On You will take ownership of the AI side of the product, including: * Designing the overall AI/ML architecture * Building and training machine learning/deep learning models * E-commerce customer behavior analysis * Product recommendation and personalization systems * Customer purchase/churn prediction * Product ranking and intelligent search * Demand and sales forecasting * Customer segmentation * AI-driven product and customer insights * Model evaluation, optimization, and monitoring * Building scalable APIs around ML models * Integrating AI capabilities into the main e-commerce platform * Deploying models into a production environment * Improving models based on real-world data and feedback Depending on your expertise, we are also interested in incorporating modern *Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and intelligent automation* where they provide genuine value to the platform. ### Technology / Skills We’re Looking For Strong experience with several of the following: *AI & Machine Learning* Python, Scikit-learn, PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, XGBoost, LightGBM, deep learning, feature engineering, model evaluation, hyperparameter tuning, and ML pipelines. *Modern AI* LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, AI agents, prompt engineering, OpenAI/Anthropic or open-source models, LangChain/LangGraph or similar frameworks. *Data & Backend* FastAPI/Flask, REST APIs, SQL, PostgreSQL/MySQL, data pipelines, Pandas, NumPy, Redis, and scalable backend architecture. *Deployment / MLOps* AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring, logging, versioning, and production ML infrastructure. ### Who We Want We are *not looking for someone who has only completed AI courses or tutorial projects*. We want someone who has actually designed, built, deployed, and maintained AI/ML systems in production. You should be comfortable making technical decisions independently, explaining why a particular model or architecture should be used, and taking a product from *idea → architecture → development → training → deployment → production optimization*. ### Engagement We are open to *hourly or milestone-based contracts* and potentially a *long-term engagement*. We are willing to offer a *high rate for an outstanding senior AI engineer*. Please do not compete primarily on price—we are more interested in your experience, architecture decisions, problem-solving ability, and the quality of systems you have built.
