Senior Automation & Systems Integration Specialist GoHighLevel | Make.com | Zapier | APIs | AI We are looking for a senior Automation & Systems Integration Specialist to become our go-to resource for designing, building, troubleshooting, and improving automations across multiple businesses and platforms. This is not a basic Zapier/Make role. We need someone who can understand a business problem, determine the best technical solution, and build it independently. What You'll Do: * Design and build end-to-end business process automations * Build advanced GoHighLevel workflows and automations * Integrate GoHighLevel with Shopify and other platforms * Build complex Make.com and Zapier workflows * Work with APIs, REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth, and custom integrations * Automate CRM, lead management, sales, follow-up, and operational processes * Synchronize data across multiple platforms * Build notifications, routing, and escalation workflows * Troubleshoot and improve existing automations * Add error handling, monitoring, and logging * Document systems and workflows * Identify new opportunities for automation * Determine when to use native integrations, Make, Zapier, APIs, or custom code Our Technology Stack: * GoHighLevel (GHL) — highly important * Make.com * Zapier * Shopify * Monday.com * Slack * Google Workspace / Google Sheets * APIs & webhooks * AI / LLM tools Advanced GoHighLevel experience is strongly preferred. Required Experience: We are looking for significant hands-on experience with: * Make.com and/or Zapier * GoHighLevel * API / REST API integrations * Webhooks * JSON * Authentication, API keys, and OAuth * CRM automation * Data mapping and synchronization * Conditional and multi-step workflows * Error handling and troubleshooting * Business process automation Strongly preferred: * Shopify integrations * Monday.com * Slack * Google Workspace * OpenAI / LLM APIs * JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages You should be comfortable writing code when a no-code solution is not the right approach. AI Automation: AI experience is a plus, particularly with: * AI classification and routing * Lead qualification * CRM enrichment * Extracting structured data from emails/documents * Personalized communications * AI agents and multi-step workflows * Turning unstructured information into structured CRM data * Human approval workflows Automation and systems expertise comes first. The Ideal Candidate: You are an Automation Architect + Integration Specialist + Technical Problem Solver. You can take a request such as: "We need our CRM, Shopify, and internal systems to automatically update, notify the right people, and route exceptions." You can ask the right questions, map the process, recommend the architecture, and build the solution. We are not looking for someone who simply follows instructions or builds basic trigger → action Zaps. Long-Term Opportunity: This is intended to be a long-term, ongoing engagement. Initially, you will review, complete, improve, and maintain existing automations and workflows.
