Senior Frontend Engineer – Blockchain Staking Platform (React / TypeScript)

Company: FortisX Project: Staking & Validator Infrastructure Platform Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract / Freelance Budget: $81,200–$117,600 USD About the Project We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to help develop and improve a blockchain staking platform focused on validator infrastructure, staking operations, and digital asset management. The platform enables users to interact with Proof-of-Stake blockchain networks, monitor validator performance, manage staking positions, and access real-time blockchain data through intuitive dashboards. You will work on frontend applications that connect blockchain data and backend services into reliable, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript. - Build staking dashboards displaying staking balances, rewards, validator performance, and transaction history. - Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket services to display real-time blockchain data. - Implement wallet connectivity and blockchain transaction interfaces. - Develop reusable UI components and scalable frontend architecture. - Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility. - Collaborate with backend and blockchain engineers to integrate staking and validator services. - Implement charts, analytics, and data visualization for staking operations. - Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. Required Technical Skills - Strong experience with React.js and TypeScript. - Solid JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 knowledge. - Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar). - Experience integrating REST APIs and WebSocket connections. - Understanding of blockchain concepts, especially Proof-of-Stake and staking. - Experience with Web3 libraries such as ethers.js, viem, or wagmi. - Experience with wallet integrations such as MetaMask and WalletConnect. - Familiarity with responsive UI development and modern component libraries. - Knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows. Nice to Have - Previous experience building DeFi or staking dashboards. - Experience with Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, or other Proof-of-Stake networks. - Familiarity with validator monitoring and staking reward calculations. - Experience with Next.js. - Understanding of smart contract interactions and transaction lifecycle management. - Experience with financial dashboards and high-volume real-time data. First 90-Day Objectives First 30 Days - Understand the existing frontend architecture and staking platform workflows. - Become familiar with API integrations, wallet connections, and blockchain data structures. - Identify frontend performance and usability improvements. Days 31–60 - Develop and improve staking dashboards and validator analytics interfaces. - Integrate and optimize real-time blockchain data. - Improve reusable components, testing, and frontend documentation. Days 61–90 - Lead the delivery of a scoped frontend improvement. - Improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability. - Contribute to frontend architecture and user experience improvements.
