Senior WordPress Technical Lead / Development Oversight

Looking for a senior WordPress technical expert to provide development oversight and quality assurance across an active client project. This is a client-facing role, so communication skills are just as important as technical expertise. You must be fluent in English, comfortable on camera, and confident participating in client meetings while explaining technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development team, review their work, identify technical risks, and ensure the website is being built according to modern development, performance, and security best practices. However, you must have the technical ability to step in, troubleshoot, or support development when required. What You'll Be Responsible For - Oversee WordPress development and provide technical direction - Review code quality, architecture, and development practices - Identify security vulnerabilities and enforce WordPress security best practices - Troubleshoot complex issues and support developers when necessary - Familiarity with Git, staging/production workflows, debugging, performance optimization, and server environments
