Stripe Billing + Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) Subscription Migration Specialist

I'm seeking an experienced Stripe Billing and WordPress developer to review and validate a recurring subscription migration for an established WordPress software business I'm evaluating for acquisition. The initial engagement is a $1,000 fixed-price technical assessment. Depending on the findings and acquisition outcome, there may be a follow-up project for the full migration. CURRENT ENVIRONMENT - Approximately 850 Stripe subscriptions (820 active, 26 failing, 4 requiring attention) - Migration from an Australian Stripe account to a new US Stripe account - WordPress with Easy Digital Downloads (EDD), Recurring Payments, and Software Licensing - Annual subscriptions with existing billing dates and active software licenses - Existing Stripe customer/subscription IDs must be correctly mapped to EDD records - A separate PayPal subscription cohort is outside the scope The seller has already provided migration documentation covering Stripe's customer/payment-method data copy, subscription recreation, and EDD database mapping. PHASE 1: TECHNICAL REVIEW ($1,000 FIXED PRICE) 1. Review the existing Stripe/EDD migration documentation and assess feasibility. 2. Identify risks involving payment-method migration, subscription recreation, billing dates, failed payments, and duplicate charges. 3. Validate the mapping between old/new Stripe identifiers and existing EDD subscriptions. 4. Review Stripe webhook handling, renewal orders, and EDD Software Licensing extensions. 5. Design and, where feasible, validate a synthetic test-mode migration. 6. Provide a migration plan with reconciliation, rollback, and post-cutover verification procedures. Expected deliverables: Written risk assessment, migration workflow, mapping requirements, test checklist, and estimated cost for full execution. PHASE 2: OPTIONAL FULL MIGRATION If the acquisition closes, I may hire the same developer to assist with subscription imports, EDD database updates, Stripe webhooks, live cutover, reconciliation, and post-migration monitoring. Phase 2 will be scoped and priced separately.
