Technical Audit and Refactoring of an AI-Powered SaaS Platform

Project Overview I am looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to assess and potentially refactor an existing SaaS platform currently at MVP stage, with the goal of turning it into a robust, scalable, and production-ready solution. The platform consists of several interconnected modules, with two being the immediate priorities: Strategic Intelligence and Monitoring Module: Collecting, processing, and analyzing data to identify relevant business opportunities. Market Intelligence and Analytics Module: Leveraging historical data to analyze market trends, identify patterns, and generate actionable business insights. Additional modules are planned, including AI-powered analysis and automated generation of professional documents. Scope of Work The first step will be to conduct a technical audit of the existing platform, assessing code quality, architecture, performance, security, and scalability. Depending on the findings, the project may include: Refactoring and restructuring the existing codebase. Partially or fully rebuilding the two priority modules. Improving the technical architecture and application performance. Ensuring the reliability of data processing pipelines and AI-powered features. Designing a modular architecture that supports seamless integration between components. Implementing appropriate testing procedures and technical documentation. The objective is to take a pragmatic approach: preserve what works, fix what needs improvement, and rebuild components where necessary. Required Profile Proven experience in Full-Stack development and SaaS platform refactoring. Strong ability to audit, understand, and take ownership of an existing codebase. Solid knowledge of APIs, SQL databases, and modular software architectures. Experience with cloud infrastructure and applications integrating AI models. Ability to work independently, identify technical risks, and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations. Experience with technologies such as Next.js, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Supabase would be an advantage, subject to confirmation of the existing technology stack. Project Approach The engagement will begin with a technical assessment of the existing platform. Based on the findings, we will define the scope of the refactoring, technical priorities, implementation timeline, and budget.
