Backend Developer Needed — Two-Sided Marketplace Website (MVP → Launch) I have a working MVP for a marketplace website connecting service providers with clients for bookings, currently a functional prototype. I need a developer to review the existing build, complete the backend, and deploy it to production. • Two user types: service providers and clients, with booking requests between them • Tiered flat booking fees charged to both parties • Percentage-based deposits with min/max caps • Time-based cancellation and response windows (auto-expiring requests) • In-app content delivery with expiration and a client confirmation step • Automated payout release schedule with reminder notifications • Provider tier system (admin-assigned, not self-service) • Dual notification system — every major event triggers both in-site and email notifications • Anti-circumvention filtering (blocking contact info shared in on-site messaging), enforced both client- and server-side • Responsive design — must work cleanly across desktop and mobile browsers • Secure handling of user data and payment info (HTTPS, proper auth flows) Scope of work: 1. Review current codebase and flag what’s complete vs. incomplete 2. Provide a rough time estimate to finish and deploy 3. Complete backend implementation 4.
