WordPress Backend Developer Needed – Advanced Post Filters & Favicon Fix

We are looking for an experienced WordPress backend developer to improve our existing WordPress website. The main requirement is to build a flexible filtering and sorting system for post listing pages, which will be used for different content types such as Blogs, Case Studies, and other post listings. Scope of Work 1. Advanced Post Filters Create filters for post listing/archive pages based on: Post Categories Tags Recent Posts Related Posts Other relevant taxonomies where applicable Sorting options such as newest/oldest Combination of multiple filters Pagination/load more functionality should continue to work correctly with filters The solution should be reusable and scalable, so we can apply the same functionality to different post listing pages such as: Blog listing Case Studies Resources Other content sections The filters should work smoothly without breaking the existing WordPress theme or layout. 2. WordPress Backend Development Review the existing WordPress post structure and theme/plugin setup Implement the filtering logic cleanly Follow WordPress coding standards Avoid unnecessary plugins where possible Ensure the solution does not negatively impact website performance Make the functionality easy to maintain and extend 3. Favicon Fix We also have an issue with the website favicon that needs to be investigated and fixed. The developer should: Identify why the favicon is not displaying correctly Fix the favicon implementation Ensure it displays correctly across major browsers and devices Check the favicon/site icon configuration and relevant theme/header settings Requirements We are looking for someone with strong experience in: WordPress backend development Custom WordPress queries WP_Query Taxonomies, categories and tags AJAX/filtering functionality WordPress themes and plugins Performance optimization Debugging existing WordPress websites To Apply Please share: A brief description of your relevant WordPress experience.
