WordPress + Schema Contractor for Small Marketing Agency — Ongoing Work, First Project Ready

We're a small sales and marketing agency managing done-for-you marketing for clients in real estate, mortgage, legal, and small business. We're looking for a WordPress contractor with real SEO chops — especially structured data (JSON-LD schema) — to handle ongoing build and maintenance work across our client sites. Our client sites are built on a mix of page builders. Divi is the most common, but we also work with Elementor and native WordPress. What matters more than any specific builder is that you understand modern SEO fundamentals: Core Web Vitals, structured data, and clean semantic HTML. First project is ready to start: technical remediation on a live client site (Divi + Rank Math + WP Rocket) plus a new page build. Steady work after that if it's a good fit. What you'd be doing • Building and editing pages across multiple WordPress environments (Divi, Elementor, and native WordPress) • Implementing JSON-LD schema markup (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Person, JobPosting, Article) either through Rank Math, Yoast, or manually via code snippets • Fixing Core Web Vitals issues, especially mobile LCP and CLS problems • Setting up Google Analytics 4, Search Console verification, sitemap submission • Configuring WP Rocket, image optimization, and general page speed remediation • Setting up forms (Gravity Forms, WPForms) with spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile or reCAPTCHA v3) • Custom CSS and light PHP where the visual builder falls short • Plugin updates, backups, and general site maintenance • Occasional 301 redirect mapping and URL structure cleanup What we need from you • Solid WordPress experience with at least one major page builder (Divi or Elementor, ideally both) • Working knowledge of JSON-LD schema — how to implement it, how to validate it, and when to use which type • Comfortable with Rank Math or Yoast SEO plugin configurations • Core Web Vitals experience — you've actually fixed CLS and LCP issues on real client sites • Portfolio of 2-3 live sites you've built or substantially improved, with a short description of what you specifically did on each • Minimum 4 hours daily overlap with US Eastern (international applicants welcome as long as this overlap works) • Strong written English and clear communication • Reliable turnaround — 24-hour response on messages during business days • Willing to sign a simple NDA (you'll access client sites) Nice to have • AEO/GEO experience (optimizing sites for AI search visibility — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini) • Experience adding llms.txt files and configuring robots.txt for AI crawlers • Familiarity with Web3Forms or similar headless form services • Comfort working from detailed change docs and technical audit documents • Previous agency environment experience What working with us is like • Small team.
