WordPress Website Developer (Woocommerce) – Ongoing Support & Priority Tasks

We are looking for an experienced **WordPress Website Developer** to join us on an ongoing basis and manage website development, updates, fixes, and optimisation tasks. The ideal candidate will be **reliable, responsive, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks**, particularly when urgent website changes or issues need to be addressed. ### What You’ll Be Responsible For * Managing ongoing WordPress website development and maintenance tasks * Implementing website updates, changes, and new features * Troubleshooting and fixing website bugs and technical issues * Working with **HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP** * Making responsive and mobile-friendly website updates * Creating and updating website pages, sections, menus and forms * Implementing design and layout changes from provided instructions * Improving website speed, performance and technical functionality * Supporting SEO-related technical changes, including **schema/structured data** * Working with plugins, themes and WordPress configurations * Identifying and resolving website issues proactively * Coordinating with our marketing/SEO team to implement required changes * Maintaining website quality and ensuring changes do not negatively impact existing functionality ### What We’re Looking For * Strong experience with **WordPress development** * Good knowledge of **HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP** * Experience working with WordPress themes and plugins * Understanding of responsive website development * Experience with website speed and performance optimisation * Familiarity with SEO requirements and schema markup is highly desirable * Ability to troubleshoot issues independently * Strong attention to detail * Good communication skills * Ability to understand instructions and execute tasks accurately ### Most Important Requirement – Availability & Priority Support We are looking for someone who can become a **long-term development partner**, rather than someone who only completes occasional projects.
